RHFAC PROFESSIONAL CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

The Rick Hansen Foundation (RHF) is pleased to announce that Round 1 for the complimentary Ontario Ratings project has closed. RHFAC is ready to receive expressions of interest from RHFAC Professionals to conduct one or more complimentary RHFAC ratings in Ontario municipalities.

Statement of Purpose

The Province of Ontario Ministry for Seniors and Accessibility has provided funding to carry out the Rick Hansen Foundation Accessibility Certification™ (RHFAC) program in Ontario. This initiative will help organizations in Ontario better understand their level of accessibility, in addition to providing detailed input as to how to improve the accessibility of their buildings.

Over the next year, 250 Sites in select municipalities across Ontario will be eligible to receive complimentary RHFAC ratings to measure meaningful accessibility and provide a snapshot of their accessibility, which in turn can inform future accessibility improvements.
